Each student at Guerin Prep receives a Chromebook.

Our Chromebook program provides the opportunity for students to always be learning, extending beyond the classroom and into a globally-connected world. Chromebooks are specialized laptops, which run ChromeOS, and emphasize productivity and collaboration between students and faculty. With Chromebooks, our students have:
  • Access to Google Apps including Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms for Productivity
  • Access to Google Drive and Classroom for collaboration with faculty and students

Maker Space - Innovation and Creativity Center

Providing hands-on, creative ways for students to design, build and invent as they deeply engage in science, engineering and tinkering.

Stations include:
  • Mac Computers / Graphic DesignPC Build - (example: Students build computers out of recycled parts)
  • Chromebook Repair
  • 3D Printing - (example: STEM 1 Students create fidgets. A student creates a scaled model of his proposed ramp system for handicapped accessablity at Guerin.)
  • Robotics / Mindstorm - (example: Students create a trebuchet)
  • Fashion Lab - (example: Student redesign of uniform skirt with pockets)
